Second Life is a virtual reality environment (VRE) online community that may provide a number of options for people with military and combat-related stress or PTSD. In Second Life (SL) the Fearless Nation retreat, created by PTSD survivors for “PTSDers,” offers information and support for those not ready for in-person contact. There, resources can be found for locating traditional counseling and veterans’ assistance programs and peer support groups locally. Colleen M.
